No access to mains gas and the high ceilings hard to heat effectively
Finnebrogue Woods is an exclusive lakeside venue, close to Downpatrick, County Down, where beautiful Nordic Tipis provide the perfect backdrop for the day of your dreams…….With acres of untouched woodland, a tranquil lake and lush fields making up the fabric of this historic site, Finnebrogue Woods is certainly one of Northern Ireland’s hidden gems.
The team that run Finnebrogue Woods recently moved in to their new, purpose built office and warehouse building. The remote site has no access to mains gas, and the high ceilings, whilst providing a bright and spacious work environment, were going to be hard to heat effectively.
Summit space heaters were wall-mounted in the main office area for an effective, discreet space-saving solution. Similarly, a combination of White and Mirror panel heaters were used in the bathroom areas.
“Our architect had worked with Herschel before who provided a heating specification from plan drawings. The process was simple and straightforward, and the installation was carried out by our electrician without issue. It’s early days but the Summit heaters warm-up fast and are controlled by Herschel’s iQ thermostat controls. The heated mirror in the washroom saves space and looks great. There’s no maintenance required and the controls maintain comfort so it’s a really simple system to own. Our first Winter using the system is still ahead, but we’re confident we’ll be comfortable and productive as the season cools.” Ed Lindsay, Director, Finnebrogue Woods.
