“Simply fab” Hot Yoga heating

Background

The owners of a Yoga Studio, 11:11 Yoga Studio, were looking for heating for their brand new yoga studio in Calne and contacted Herschel to discuss suitable solutions.

Solution

11:11 Yoga primarily focuses on the practice of hot yoga, a technique widely-recognised by practitioners as offering significant health and well-being benefits. They required a heating solution that could achieve the high temperatures demanded by the technique, circa 35 plus degrees centigrade.

Herschel carried out a survey of the yoga studio space, taking into account ceiling heights and any restrictions on mounting, plus glazing and insulation levels. Herschel Aspect heaters were specified, a zero light discreet infrared heater for hot yoga studios, and these were wall-mounted around the studio.

The Aspect heaters are controlled by MD1 hard-wired thermostats, which have a temperature control range of up to 45 degrees centigrade, are 7 day programmable and also have a keypad locking feature. The owners also have App-control via the addition of the iQ Hub so have simple access to the thermostat settings from wherever they are.

A Herschel Summit heater has also been installed within the reception area.
