For student accommodation our panels are being chosen by leading universities and accommodation providers as well as private landlords. Infrared panels are space-saving, silent, maintenance free and easy to control – creating the ideal heating solution for student accommodation.
Successful trials have shown that students prefer the feeling of infrared heat compared to the stuffiness associated with convection heaters and because the room itself is heated and not the air, our heaters reduce damp issues and provide a more consistent level of warmth. The ability to ceiling mount or place higher on the walls frees up valuable space for furniture and also reduces the risk of students covering the heaters.
Unlike convector heaters, our heaters are also completely silent. Extensive trials have shown savings of up to 20% on energy consumption and significant savings on maintenance.

Simple heating systems to control and operate
Zero maintenance may sound too good to be true for many providers but annual
checks aren’t required for our infrared heating solutions.
On a rare occasion should an issue arises, it can be located to a single point via software, avoiding a complete system shutdown. Any problem can be isolated without affecting other rooms.
Herschel infrared heaters can be remotely controlled alongside a BMS system giving much more control and visibility of consumption, enabling landlords and student occupiers to work together to reduce consumption.
